Ston oysters and the Pelješac wine road
Two things Pelješac does well, in one day: shellfish from the bay at Mali Ston and red wine from the villages further along the peninsula.
The morning is for the walls and salt pans of Ston. After lunch the road goes on to Ponikve and Potomje, where Plavac Mali is the grape that matters.

Good to know
You pay separately for oysters, winery visits and tastings. Fewer restaurants are open in winter, so ask about the season when you book.
